Front Desk Receptionist
Responsible for handling front office reception and administration duties, including greeting guests and offering them a beverage, answering phones, handling company inquiries, and sorting and distributing mail. Mail also schedule meetings and travel for executives.
Guest Service Agent
Guest service agents answer telephone calls from guests seeking to make or cancel hotel reservations. They greet arriving guests, assign rooms, issue keys, and collect guest payment and billing information.
Concierge
The job of a hotel concierge is to ensure guests have everything they need during their hotel stay. These needs may include anything from arranging transportation to the airport, to reserving dinner reservations at the finest restaurants.
Porter
Similar to custodians and janitors, porters work to make sure that all types of buildings are neat, clean, free from clutter and safe. Custodians spend their days picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, or using industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors, cleaning and stocking bathrooms.
