Intercontinental Hotel Brisbane, a premier destination in the heart of Brisbane QLD, is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our housekeeping team as Room Attendants. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a world-class hotel environment through our 3-month Hotel Internship Program.

As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas, replenishing amenities, and providing exceptional service with a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms and public areas to hotel standards
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish guest amenities
• Report maintenance issues and lost property promptly
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service at all times

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage but not required
• Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays

Employment Details

• Position Type: Part-time, 30 to 35 hours per week
• Pay Rates:
  • Monday-Friday: $25.85/hr
  • Saturday: $32.31/hr
  • Sunday: $38.78/hr
  • Public Holidays: $58.16/hr
• Positions Available: 3
• Start Date: October, ASAP
