Housekeeping Room Attendant – Part-Time Position

Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park is a leading hotel in Melbourne VIC, known for exceptional guest experiences and a welcoming team environment. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our housekeeping team as Room Attendants through our 3-month Hotel Internship Program.
As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the hospitality industry with a globally recognized brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms and public areas to Hyatt standards
- Replenish amenities and linens
- Report maintenance issues and lost property
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for guests and staff
- Work collaboratively with the housekeeping and hotel team
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage but not required
- Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays
Employment Details
- Position Type: Part-time, 25 to 30 hours per week
- Pay Rates:
- Monday to Friday: $25.85/hr
- Saturday: $32.31/hr
- Sunday: $38.78/hr
- Public Holidays: $58.16/hr
- Positions Available: 3
- Start Date: October, ASAP
