Primarily Responsible for Operating and maintain cleaning equipment and tools. Also responsible for washing dishes, china ware, flatware, cutlery, crockery, kitchen vessels, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and detailing equipment’s etc.
Cook
Cook Responsibilities. Include: Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment. Preparing ingredients to use in cooking(chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) Cooking food in various utensils or grillers.
Commis Chef
As a commis chef you’re on the first rung of the ladder to becoming a great chef. In most kitchens you’ll do food preparation work and basic cooking under the supervision of a chef de partie or section chef, rotating through sections such as sauce, vegetables, fish and butchery roughly every six months.
Demi Chef
Demi chefs assist executive chefs with an array of different tasks in the kitchen. … In addition to meal preparation,demi chefs must clean their work stations and adhere to health and safety regulations. They must manage their kitchen stations, order food and supplies, and cut down on kitchen waste.
